About This Item
Printed by the Kner private press. The book was published in German in 1921 (Sieben Märchen; Rikola).
Béla Balázs (1884-1949) was a Hungarian-Jewish film critic and aesthete, also a writer and poet. He is known as the librettist of Béla Bartók's "Bluebeard's Castle" and the writer of the scenario for Bartók's ballet "The Wooden Prince".
Lajos Kozma (1884-1948) besides being one of the chief Hungarian architects and interior designers of the first half of the 20th century was also a graphic artist and book illustrator. His architectural early works were created in Art Nouveau style but later, through Art Deco, he found his way to the International Modernism.
