Gent,: Christian de Backer,, 1974.. [x], 348 unnumbered pages (30 lines per page, in Gothic). 8v0 (14 x 21 cm.). Simili vellum, spine gilt lettered. With 150 plant portraits. ¶ A nice facsimile of the herbal printed round 1500 by Willem Vosteman at Antwerp. The main body of the work described and illustrates 150 plants with hint about their medicinal properties and use. In it we find the very first images of plants in a printed book.
