NY 1901 1st. Hardcover. 4to., about 450pp., photogravures by Curtis, chromolithographs, original green cloth with gilt decoration. This is the second volume of a two volume set, and has many monochrome photo illustrations and color plates . Burroughs is usually listed as the author of the set as he wrote the introduction. Top edge gilt. Institution blind stamp on title page and lower blank margin of final index page, bookplate and a few small stamped numbers (i.e, inside front cover, on front free blank and at margin of first page). VG, slight residue of numbers at heel of spine, corners gently bumped. Very nice copy with tight binding and no spotting or foxing. Volume II only. .
