Gaskell, good + red cloth hardcover (no dust jacket if issued) decorated in black & gilt with blindstamping to rear cover shows rubbing with soil and spot staining to covers, bumping with rub through to corners, some fray and tear at spine head, light tearing at front hinge, rubbing and scratching to gilt page edges, mild soil at rear endpapers and some other mild trace wear including name at tissued presentation page. 650 pages with index and black & whites.
