About This Item
London: Bloomsbury, 2012. No dustwrapper (as issued), somefading to spine and to top edge of back cover, original owner's name inside front board, but otherwise a very good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. A companion volume to the authors' "Machine Stitch Perspectives", a collection of pieces by various authors on aspects of hand stitch from a historical or social point-of-view, and on communities and organisations that support handstitch. NOT a practical, how-to-do-it sort of book. A heavy book, packaged weight would be about 1250g, so extra postage will be required from buyers outside the UK. 224pp, colur illustration (and a few in b&w) throughout.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
