About This Item
Boston: Little, Brown & Co., 2002. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. Good/Good. A novel and bibliomystery about the theft of the priceless handwritten manuscript of "The Divine Comedy" from the Vatican by an old priest and its arrival a few weeks later in New York City where a sometime writer-sometime thief named NickTosches is asked to authenticate the document, thus beginning a dangerous and deadly journey. Several pages (27-30, 55-56, 59-62) are creased across the upper corner, both spine ends are bumped, o/w boards and text are clean, tight, square; the dustjacket is worn at the spine ends, edges and corners but without significant tears or chipping. A decent reading copy of a well-written book.
