New York: Fleming H. Revell Company, 1911. 106 pp. Small octavo. Original red decorated cloth with title on front board and spine. Frontispiece of author. 15 black and white illustrations. a fine clean copy inside and out. The Armenian were treated as inferior beings but when the government of Turkey declared them equal in rights to the Mohammedans the fire was started that led to the massacres of the Armenians at Mohammedan hands. The author spent nearly 12 years as a Missionary of the United Orphanage and Mission Society stationed at Hadjin, Turkey. Quite uncommon and detailing a period in Eastern history by someone that was there. 1911
