About This Item
NY: Dial Press, 1968. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good +. First edition, without the pasted-in copyright statement on copyright page: no issue point determined that we know of. Near fine book in very good, presentable dustjacket that has some shallow chipping spine head, some modest edgewear and minor soiling most noticeably on the rear panel. The play won both Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award in 1969; Sackler adapted his play for film for which James Earl Jones and Jane Alexander, reprising their stage roles, were nominated for Oscars.
