Maps by Dr. Julian Wolff. Green, beautifully designed binding crafted with borders and diamonds highlighted in gilt. Spine (backstrip) carries out similar design along with illustration - all in gilt lettering. Three raised hubs, the look of more expensive books. All edges in gilt. Endpapers feature gold repeating design surrounding illustrated maps. The acid-free book paper is 60-pound Franklin Library 1854 Cream, made to archival standards. Condition: Top edge has scattered old humidity/dust stains; other edges tiny dings/rubbed marks from handling and shelving. Else overall Near Fine. Pages are clean, very readable. Illustrations are clear, vivid. Free of the smell of a former smoker. Franklin Library (a division of Franklin Mint), published collectible books of high-quality materials.
