Author of"Puck on Pegasus', 'Pegasus Re-saddled', 'Modern Babylon' Tissue protected frontis, engravature of author is signed (faux?). Black ep's, ads for other works by author on verso of fe page. Longman's logo carried in gilt on front board and also on mid title page. Book dedication to Alfred, Lord Tennyson, Poet Laureate is dated 20 Mar. 1884. Contents divided into Part I, Part II and Part III. 170 pp. plus Reviews of Puck on Pegasus, Modern Babylon and Pegasus Re-saddled. Text block held together by string binding at pp 80-81, rough cut fore edges, corners bumped and scuffed, spine ends rubbed and scuffed, maroon boards are bevel edged, gilt text on front and spine, fo pink stamp (3).
