Illustrated with numerous woodcuts of sights along the way plus a plethora of box and display ads for German related products and services, including over twenty bygone breweries. Maennerchor, German-American benevolent associations, are Men’s glee clubs with a long history in Pennsylvania, where they are devoted to the preservation of traditional German choral music, good fellowship, and the organization of numerous social events.
