About This Item
New York: Hacker Art Books, 1975. Two hardcover books without dust jackets, reissue of the Cambridge Press 1915 edition; Volume One, xxii + 291 pages including 102 Figures (many full page), plus LXXX [80] black-and-white Plates; Volume Two, 339 pages including 127 Figures (numbered 103-229), plus 111 Plates (numbered LXXXI-CXCI); very gently used ex-library set although there is noticeable wear to the cloth cover edges and corners, traces of edge soiling, and the usual stamps and labels to all endpapers (but no disfiguring card pockets), but as these were "Controlled" copies (i.e. reference use only, not circulated), they are tight in bindings, text pages very clean and unmarked.
