The slipcase, with label on the face, has old tape on three seams, all of the seams have heavy wear and opening, but it exists and has been solidly repaired. The dust jacket has sunning on the spine, fine otherwise. The turquoise cloth boards with blind stamped creatures on the front in a circle and blue buckram spine with gold stamping are in fine condition as is the book's interior. Signed on a tipped-in page by the three authors, #511/850. Printed on rag paper. Alfred A. Knopf 1946 All orders packed with care, independent bookseller since 2011
