About This Item
The First UK printing published by Faber and Faber in 1940. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. Light pushing at the spine ends and upper corners. Mild toning and spotting to the text-block with some light toning to the page edges due to the wartime quality of paper used. Free from inscriptions and erasures. The WRAPPER is complete and is in near Fine condition. Just a hint of fading to the spine. The wrapper looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival cover. A very sharp copy. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
