About This Item
London: J.M.Dent & Sons Ltd, 1947. Third Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Minus/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. N/a. 303pp. 1947. Third edition. In the modern sports 'library' edited by Howard Marshall. A very good minus clean, tight copy. No insriptions except for a number written on a small, neat printed former owner's name and address sticker to the head of the front endpaper. No jacket. Original publisher's green cloth - gilt embossed to the spine. 33 photographic illustrations including the frontispiece and 16 diagrams. Some mottling (probably caused by exposure to sun rather than moisture) to the cloth of the spine and to the front board. Some spottting to the fore-edges. Nevertheless a very clean, tight copy of this book by a classic golf writer.
