About This Item
New New York: Crown, 1984. First Edition. Cloth-backed boards in dust jacket; large 8vo. 241 pp. Signed by the author and dated November 20, 2000 on the title page. Slight bump to top edge else about fine in a fine complete (not-price-clipped) dust jacket. The publisher was not known for literary fiction and this first novel received mostly good but modest reviews. The author has requested it not be published in paperback, so it is not well-known. His third book won the Pulitzer Prize. (In removable protective archival covers.).
