Prague: Gesellschaft von Menschenfreunden, 1785. First Edition of this history of the Orphanage of St. John the Baptist in Prague, founded and financed by the Prague Freemasons in 1773. From 1780 to 1794 the orphanage was also the home to three Masonic Lodges. The author, a Jesuit priest, was a representative of the European Catholic Enlightenment movement and a prominent Freemason.
