Three maps included as called for. 8vo, publisher's original navy cloth, the covers and spine lettered and decorated in gilt, top edge gilt. xxv, 306 pp. A beautiful copy, pristine and near as mint. A VERY FINE COPY, SCARCE THUS, OF THIS FIRST EDITION WORK ON THE LIBYAN SAHARA. Charles Furlong (1874-1967), American explorer, writer and photographer, was the first American to explore the Tripolitan Sahara.
