Contemporary half calf over marbled boards, smooth spines with densely gilt compartments and two burgundy morocco gilt lettering labels. Some expected offsetting from plates. Overall, a very good and clean and tight copy.Well-illustrated with copper engravings of everything from comets to volcanos, caverns to waterfalls, far off lands, exotic animals, ancient structures (including Stonehenge): a captivating work with intricate and dense copper plate engravings.
