Brown leather title block on spine with gilt lettering. 312 pp. plus four tables of contents; bw plates have tissue guards; several bw line drawings. Title on spine: The Furniture of our Forefathers, I. A compilation volume divided into the following sections: Early Southern, Later Southern, Early New England, and the Dutch and English Periods. Part I was published in 1900; Parts II - IV were published in 1901. Each one appears as a separate publication, with appropriate title pages. A lovely copy with pristine illustrations.
