About This Item
London: Hamish Hamilton Ltd, 1982. First edition in this format. Hardback laminated colour illustrated boards. Unpaginated. Covers are clean with minimal handling. All but one of the pop-ups are working perfectly, and showing little sign of use. One end of a string of bats has become detached. This would be easy to repair. 275 x 200 mm (10¾ x 7¾ inches). Fungus the Bogeyman is a character created by British artist Raymond Briggs. The story follows one day in the life of this fabulous character, a working class Bogeyman with the mundane job of scaring human beings. A fantastic pre-curser to the likes of Shrek!
