Dark red cloth with visible rubbing to edges and shelf wear, none severe, clean, well bound, short ink mark on copyright page, otherwise the text clean and unmarked. Remains of dust jacket laid in. Inscribed to Silvio Baez, M. D. (with his rubber stamp on the front paste-down paper, upside-down) by the author: "A colleague whose interest and enthusiasm has never flagged."
