Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Pencil inscriptions to front pastedown. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. A few edge tears and creases, as expected with deckled paper. Slight gutter cracking. Boards have some edge wear, with moderate bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Slight water stains to rear. Book has a pronounced forward lean. Gilt is bright.

Collins' Clear-Type Press, 1111. Hardcover. Good. 528 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Vol.I. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.

Text block edge is moderately foxed. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.
