New York: D. Appleton-Century Company, 1939. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine binding/no dust jacket. With ALS laid In. With a 1963 tls from Allan Nevins to Robert Waitt, Secretary of the Richmond Civil War Centennial Committee. On Huntington Library letterhead, Nevins comments in the letter on revisions to his Fremont biography, and encourages Waitt to publish an article on Fremont in the Huntington's Quarterly Magazine. At the time of this letter, Nevins was Senior Research Assistant at the Huntington Library. A clean copy, with Mr. Waitt's blindstamp to the title page and his bookplate on the pastedown. Near Fine binding / no dust jacket.

Library and institutional billing requirements are accommodated. Returns: We accept returns for any reason within seven days of receipt provided we are notified in advance and the book is returned in the condition it was sold. If the book is not represented accurately we will cover return media rate shipping. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 lbs, or 1 kg. Multi-volume sets, heavy and over-sized books may require additional shipping, particularly if shipped internationally. In this event you will be contacted before the order is processed.
