About This Item
(Cape Town: Don Nelson, 1982). 4to; original boards; laminated pictorial dustwrapper; pp. 134; line drawings; colour photographs. Dustwrapper slightly sunned, and reverse foxed; previous owner's name on front free endpaper; moderate foxing throughout. Good condition. "Despite the increasing interest in seafood cookery, until now very little information has been made available to enthusiasts, and to fill this gap Lannice Snyman and Anne Klarie have compiled what can only be called an encyclopaedia of seafood cookery. The text includes an alphabetical index of all the types of seafood you are likely to meet in Southern African waters, with accurate line drawings for identification as well as many superb full-colour plates; information and suggestions as to the best ways to prepare each type of seafood; basic recipes, sauces, stuffings, and marinades as well as more ambitious recipes." .
