Stamped black facsimile of signature, assume author's, on front board. Interior text block clean & tight; no writing, no markings noted. Appears unread. Frontispiece black & white illustration of Frederick Douglass; 9 other black & white illustrations throughout text. Also contains two sections, one eight pages, one sixteen pages, of glossy black & white photographs. Dust jacket very good with 1/3"" closed tear at fold on bottom front. Not price clipped; there is no price. Possibly a BCE, no words to indicate BCE, no blind stamp on bottom back board, but no price, no number line. .
