Phila: Lippincott. VG book, no DJ. 1st ed. SIGNED & warmly inscribed. FINE inside.. 1947. 1st edition.. Hardcover. VG book, no DJ. Inscription starts "To my good friend Bob Bickley.....". Spine sunned, extrems scuffed. 12"x9", 157,[48]pp . Light damp stain on outside of cover top fore corners, not inside or on pages. No aging, foxing, soiling, etc. All text block edges clean as new. Book tends to stay closed when stood on its spine. Author incribes: "To my good friend Bob Bickley ... has sacrificed his love for the wilds to be a good Samaritan to his Fellow Man & hoping that this book of mine will give you some slight relief ... Very sincerely, Harold McCracken". Bickley was also a friend of Roy Holland, Schaldack and many other mid 20th century prominent figures. .
