Philadelphia, PA: J. B. Lippincott Co., 1947. Hardcover. Good/Fair. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Good/fair. 161 pages. Black cloth binding with signature of Remington on the upper and gilt text on spine. Cover shows minor shelf wear to corners and head of spine. Colored pictorial dust jacket has white text on upper and spine. Dj. shows some scuffing, minor tears and folds, and chips to extremities. The Dedication page has a magazine cutout of a Remington painting that had been taped on. Tape is sstill evident but is not adhered to page. Tape stains show on the reverse of this page. There is also a magazine article cutout that had been taped to the back fep but is now loose. The text of the article is still attached to the back paste down. There are many black line drawings throughout the text. There are 32 full color plates and nine black and white drawings as well as nine photographs of his bronzes on pages at the end of the text. Loosely inserted in the book is a magazine article about Frederick Remington. Text pages are clean; binding is tight.
