Stated first ed.; signed by author with inscription on half t.p.; 244 p., clean and unmarked within on strong paper mildly age-toned; wonderful ill. and pictorial end pages by Kurt Wiese; binding firm; despite presence of d.j. the green boards are quite faded at edges, especially at food of spine, and bumped at corners. Because the interior is so fine, this volume deserves rebinding. The pictorial d.j. is quite chipped with closed tears at crown and foot of spine panel, with tear and crease at lower edge of front panel.
