Baptista Mantuanus was a Carmelite poet whose 15th-century works were influential during the Protestant Reformation. One of his most important poems was his collection of poems dedicated to Robert Sanseverino, an Italian mercenary captain, under the title Panaegyricum Carmen. Other works included in this tome include Somnium Romanum ad epigrammata ad Falconem, and other shorter poems.

This 1499 incunabula printing is exceedingly rare and highly valuable. This entirely complete tome is bound in exquisite red-leather and includes a protective custom case.
