Boston: Little, Brown,and Company, 1865. Book. Very Good. Cloth. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. "Pioneers of France in the New World. Second Edition. ", so stated. 420 pp. with the erratum notation on the last page. Brown cloth with embossed rules to the front and gilted tiles/ rules to the spine. This copy is VG. Spine is a little faede but gilt still bright. Top and bottom of spine has modest fraying. Boards are clean with modest rubbing. Boards ' tips modestly worn but edges, much less so. Brown EPs. Neat gift inscription dated Christmas 1865 to FFEP as well as neat PO signature dated 1906. Frontispiece with tissue guard of Menendez. Text is unmarked, firmly bound, and with minimal/even toning. FEP's have minimal foxing. Multiple maps. Very nice..
