A few pages in the beginning of the book has text underlined, bracketed otherwise quite clean pages lightly toned. New mylar jacket cover replaces library cover. A selection of essays on some key aspects of the history of the Congo since it emerged into independence in 1960. There are profiles in-depth of Patrice Lumumba, Moise Tshombe, and of the military regime of General Joseph Mobubu. 8vo - over 7?" - 9?" tall 1967, Walker and Company, New York.
