About This Item
I think it was Mark Twain who said that Australian History sounded like the most fantastic lies. While a lot of it is true, there were some lies. Some of those lies are here, interspersed with some truth that might be even harder to believe. They all go up to create the history of Gold fever in Australia. Much gold has been found, and much dust and death as well. Some great reading in the stories in this book.
This copy is in good condition - some creasing to covers, inscription on front endpapers, but good tight copy with minimal browning. Photographs show actual book for sale.
