Toronto: The Ryerson Press, 1949. First Can. Edition, Stated . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Story is set in Italy during the Middle Ages. Book (282pp.) is square and tight. Red cloth boards with black print on spine. Small dent across top of both boards. Front flyleaf is inscribed, " Father's Day 1953. To Dad with love. Judith, David, Morris & Elaine." Farnol was quite a prolific, British author, who had 39 books to his credit prior to this work. He wrote only four more after this one before he died in 1952. Rarely found by this Canadian publisher. Bookseller's Inventory # 050071.
