New York: Modern Library. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. Inscribed by Porter on the title page. Foreword by Porter. Near Fine in a Near Fine jacket, unclipped ($1.45), generally toned. Grey buckram with red ink panels and gilt lettering and designs on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound with a red top stain, clean internally. A nicely inscribed Modern Library edition of Porter's earliest stories.
