New York: Sheldon & Company. Blind stamped, formerly red cloth covers. Gold in title and decoration on spine mostly worn off, small tears and chips to spine ends and a few insect holes, overall covers scuffed, lightened, and soiled. Section of cover over spine had separated and has been re-attached. A couple of pages soiled, otherwise light foxing, binding tight, pages good. Six black and white illustrations. . Fair. Hardcover. 1867.

Vintage Quaker Books sells books by, for, and about Quakers (Religious Society of Friends) and a variety of other Christian books. The Corner Bookshop is a general used bookstore located in a cozy basement under/behind the main shopping street of Front Street in Bath, Maine.
