About This Item
New York: Samuel French, 1931. Hardcover. [x], 165p., titlepage printed in two colors, paperstock is nice soft alkaline stuff with no toning, hardbound first edition in openweave black cloth titled white, panelled in blind, top edge tinted green. Pleasant book production with sound hinges and no ownership or institutional marks, but badly sunned along spine; sunlight has wiped out color and titling from the spine panel and part of the top tint, and it is now simply grey with traces of eroded lettering. As is, a pleasant book to hold that will not beautify a bookshelf.
