London: J.M.Dent & Sons, 1972 VG/VG. 8vo. plain blue rexine (top edge slightly trimmed, a few library marks neatly erased from verso title page & endpapers, spine slightly slanted, small notation on final page, two small residual rsm's ('Cardiff Public Libraries') & a few grubby marks to text pages) in dustwrapper (a little rubbed & wrinkled, edges neatly strengthened on reverse); pp. xviii, 196, with 16 illustrations & 2 maps. A very good copy. [Neate H23: Covers the period from the earliest eighteenth century records to 1914]. Great pains have been taken to neatly remove signs of the library provenance of this book. Quite presentable.. First Edition. Hard Cover. VG/VG.
