SIGNED and inscribed (to Bill) by author on front free endpaper. The story of an Australian battalion which fought as part of the US Airborne Brigade in Vietnam. The story of Australian, New Zealand and American soldiers sent inot battle to keep the Viet Cong 'off balance' to buy time for the other Allied units to deploy. They were the first Allied formation into the infamous WAr Zone D, the first into the booby-trap infested Iron Triangle, the first to face the North Vietnamese in the Central Highlands, first into Ho Bo Woods where they discovered the tunnels of Cu Chi..
