Lacy was later Superintendent Of Schools in Halifax County , Virginia . This is a beautiful copy of the book . Full leather . Gold graphics on the front board and spine are bright . The back board is embossed with an intricate design in the leather . Five ribs on spine . Gold gilt to all of the page edges is still remarkably bright . Marbled paper pastedowns and endpapers .The hinges have been professionally repaired and the binding is tight . The interior is clean , no marks other han the presentation page . This copy is a gem for collectors .
