London: Macmillan & Co., Ltd., 1903. Finely bound by Giulio Giannini, Parchment Works,Piazza Pitti, Florence in 1920, their small ticket front end page. Contemporary vellum over beveled boards, spine intricately tooled in gilt, red morocco label, elaborate paneling in gilt and red morocco border inlays tooled in floral gilt patterns to covers, Decorative floral end papers, all edges gilt, ribbon marker. A later edition of the Extra-Illustrated edition, with numerous illustrations. Very Good Plus, boards soiled, prior owner name and inscription front end page. An excellent example of Giulio Giannini's masterful Florentine bookbinding skills. . Later Edition. Vellum. Very Good Plus. Small 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Tall.
