Two 12mo. volumes; in full black morocco bindings, with double rules and elaborate borders in gilt, with raised bands, and decorations and lettering in compatrments; dentelle turnins; all edges gilt; the upper board of both volume with gift inscriptions stamped in gilt ("Grace H. Laflin from Her Father, January 1, 1868); (vi), 320 pages; (iv), 320 pages; with folded frontispiece to Volume I, and with engraved title pages to each volume, and with engraved plates throughout.~~Grace Laflin was the daughter of Addison Laflin, who was a Representative from Massachusetts in Congress. His daughter Grace was born in 1857, and died in 1914.~~. Very Good binding.
