The Fijians: A Study of the Decay of Custom, Thomson, Basil. Published by Dawsons of Pall Mall, London, 1968. 396pp. Index. 16 b/w photos. Green cloth boards, gilt spine titles. Boards have rubbing; mark on spine from removed library label. Library label free front and back endpapers; no other marks and pages remain bright and clean. First published in 1908. The author lived among the Fijians in an official capacity for 10 years, and most of the anthropological material was collected in 1903.
