London: Vincent Brooks, Day & Son, 1868. 1st Edition . Very Good. 4.75 x 7.25 inches (11.5 x 18 cm). Brown cloth binding, panelled in gilt to front board and in blind to rear board. All edges gilt. Chromolithographic title page following by letterpress title page (with light foxing). Eight chromolithographic plates (three with perforations along outer margin). Red border to text pages. Binding strained at title page but securely bound. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper: 'Marion Aubin, St. Helena, January 26th 1870', and name again to upper margin of the colour title page. A very scarce title, rarely found in commerce. WorldCat lists 10 copies in libraries worldwide. Overall condition is Very Good. International postage will be less than the stated rate.
