London: Collins, 1971. 1st Edition. Red Boards. Fair/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Type: Ex-Library 192pp. A first edition crime novel from this well known author. One of Collins Crime Club. Original pictorial dust wrapper not price clipped and protected in a fully reversible plastic wrapper. Light rubbing to the corners of the wrapper and to the head and tail of the spine of the wrapper with loss of a few mm. Slight splitting to the front inner hinge leaving the front board slightly shaken. Numerous library stamps and tippex marks to the title page. Loss of the front end paper and half title page. Slight spine lean to the book. p 140 is loose along most of the spine. Light soiling to the fore edges. Internally the occasional soil mark to the pages with a little loss to the occasional inner corner of the pages. A fair copy with a very good wrapper.
