Presentation stamp to ffep Dark blue cloth w bronze lettering to cover and spine. Moderate shelf wear, corners and tail bumped. Cloth on back board showing irregular horizontal lines darker than the cloth, slightly indented. Visible but not unsightly. Wear to head. Binding square and sound. Octavo. This 1928 "special edition" is a Canadian printing of the fifth edition (January, 1927) produced for the author The Sun Publishing Company Limited, Vancouver, BC. Though trained as a chiropractor, the author Frank McCoy (1888-1940) did not have a degree as an M.D. though his book were published using the Dr. title. He promoted his ideas of alternative health and nutrition through syndicated newspaper and radio productions.
