About This Item
California: Wilshire Book Company, 1970. Reprint. Later US printing, with the first edition being a UK publication in 1968. 8vo. 21cm x 13cm. Publisher's illustrated card wraps. Very light wear and soiling, old bookseller's price label to rear panel. A very good, clean copy. 316pp. [1pp] ads. A dense, fluent, and expansive whistle stop tour of just about every aspect of occult and esoterica, from neolithic ritual, through the Rosicrucians, magic in the Holy Land, right up to the modern interpretations of groups like the O.T.O. It's a considerable amount to cover, but superficiality aside, it's a detailed primer.
