Mimeographed broadside, 8-1/2 x 11 in. Graphic bulletin board announcement of the lecture held at the Wilshire Ebell Theater, with the sub-subtitle "The Oppenheimer Charges, 'The Massive Retaliation' Policy." The graphic illustration depicts an enormous mushroom cloud. A Nobel Prize-winning Chemist, Harold Urey joined the Manhattan Project working on uranium enrichment. In the post-war years he advocated for world government to control atomic energy and reduce the risk of nuclear war.
