About This Item
Bryan, TX: Fuller Printing Co.. Very Good+. 1979. Reprint Edition. Softcover. Since there were no survivors of the attack on the Alamo, the author, a resident of Matamoros when the Alamo fell, compiled narratives of returning assailants "who could be relied on for veracity" in writing this account of the assault. He later put them in written form in this short booklet. This is a rerpint of the original 1860 edition printed in San Antonio. There is a floor plan diagram of the Alamo inside the front cover. There is a slight sticker residue on the front cover, and a previous owner name and dated at the top of the title page, else this is a clean, tight copy in the original white printed, stapled covers. ; Diagram; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 16 pages .
