Original black cloth boards with green title blocks and gold lettering. "CL" printed on copyright page indicating a true first. Previous owner's bookplate pasted to front end paper. End papers are browned, appears to be binder's issue from glue. Minor wear to extremities. Dust jacket is unclipped, with price of $2.75 on front flap. Nicked at spine ends, with minor wear and closed tears along edges. Front cover lightly rubbed. Decorations by Edward Shenton.
